Mumbai, 2025 — In a moment of pride for the Marathi theatre community, Dr. Laxman Deshpande has been honored with the prestigious Natya Guru Prof. Kamlakar Sonatake Gaurav Best Play Production Award 2025 for his outstanding contribution to the play “Media.” The award was conferred by the Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Natya Parishad, Mumbai, a cornerstone institution in Indian regional theatre.
