PM Shri Government High School Morpirla recently celebrated its annual day with immense enthusiasm and excitement. The event was a testament to the school’s commitment to excellence and its dedication to nurturing the talents of its students.
The annual day ceremony was attended by esteemed guests, including Chief Guest Sir Tilroy Fernandes, former Principal of Cuncolim United Higher Secondary School. The Guests of Honor included Smt. Ashwini Gaonkar, Sarpanch of the village Panchayat, Mr. Prakash Velip, Deputy Sarpanch, and other distinguished dignitaries.
Headmistress Maria Morena warmly welcomed the guests and attributed the school’s success to the dedication and hard work of her staff and students. She highlighted the school’s achievements throughout the year and expressed her gratitude to the guests for their presence.

The highlight of the event was the felicitation of the school’s top-performing students. The Chief Guest honored the three toppers, and Deputy Sarpanch Mr. Prakash Velip awarded a cash prize of Rs. 7000 to the SSC topper in the boys’ category and Rs. 4000 to the girl topper. Additionally, PTA Chairman Mr. Srikant Velip and SMDC Chairman Mr. Pramod Velip also felicitated the top three students with cash prizes.
