The highly anticipated Coldplay concert in Mumbai has sent hotel prices in Navi Mumbai soaring to unprecedented heights. With the British band set to perform at DY Patil Stadium on January 18-19 and 21, 2025, hotels in the area are cashing in on the demand, with some charging as much as ₹90,000 for a single night.

Hotel Prices Reach New Heights

According to reports, some hotels in Navi Mumbai have increased their prices by as much as 300% to capitalize on the surge in demand. The Park hotel, for instance, is charging ₹85,849 per night, while Fern Residency is asking for a staggering ₹2 lakh for a three-night stay.

Other hotels in the area are also charging exorbitant rates, with prices ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹80,000 per night. Even budget-friendly options have increased their prices, making it difficult for fans to find affordable accommodations.

Fans Face Accommodation Crisis

With many hotels near the venue already sold out, fans attending the concert are facing a challenging time finding a place to stay. The high demand and limited availability have led to a significant increase in prices, making it difficult for fans to find a hotel room without breaking the bank.

“I was looking forward to attending the Coldplay concert, but the hotel prices are just too high,” said one disappointed fan. “I’ve been searching for a budget-friendly option, but everything seems to be sold out or too expensive.”

Alternative Accommodations

With hotel prices reaching new heights, fans are being forced to explore alternative accommodation options. Some are opting for Airbnb rentals, while others are looking at hotels in nearby areas.

However, even these options are limited, and prices are still higher than usual. Fans are advised to book their accommodations well in advance to avoid last-minute disappointments.
