Panjim Church Celebrates Feast of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception with Fervor
The Panjim Church was abuzz with devotion and festivity on Monday as the faithful gathered to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception. Masses began at 5 am, culminating in a solemn High Mass at 9:30 am, led by Auxiliary Bishop Rev Dr Simião Purificação Fernandes.
A vibrant procession featuring the revered statue of Our Lady, accompanied by a brass band, wound its way through the streets. The city square surrounding the church was transformed into a kaleidoscope of colors, with stalls and embellishments adding to the festive atmosphere.
